On Thursday, November 19th, 2025, a meeting was held regarding the establishment of a tenant representation (“beboerrepræsentation”) in the property.Â
In the four buildings (Kronen, Norden, Søen, Spidsen), all votes were unanimously in favor of establishing the tenant representation, approving the monthly fee of DKK 21 to be added to the rent, entering into an agreement with Danske Lejere, and electing three tenant representatives from each building, along with alternates in some buildings.
(Lunden already has its own tenant representation.)
Because fewer than 50% of tenants attended the meeting, a written ballot must now be held. If more than half of the returned ballots vote in favor, then the tenant representation will be established.
Â
A tenant representation is a legally recognized body under the Danish Rent Act that gives tenants the right to:
Elect tenant representatives to speak and negotiate on behalf of their building.
Require transparency from the landlord regarding issues such as utilities, maintenance, and common costs.
Access professional legal and administrative support through Danske Lejere (The Danish Tenants’ Association) — without any extra payment for individual legal aid.
This is an important step forward for strengthening tenants’ rights and cooperation within UN17 Village.
Each apartment has 1 vote, with a paper ballot in both Danish and English delivered to each mailbox in the four buildings. Find your building's ballot below. The representatives for the specified building and alternates, if any, are listed on the ballot.
Ballots
We encourage all tenants to submit their ballot by Tuesday, December 2nd, 2025, either by filling out the ballot electronically (or taking a photo of your completed paper ballot) and emailing it to vote@un17liv.dk, or by returning the paper ballot to the mailbox listen on the ballot.
You’re welcome to reach out via our Facebook group, the Juli Living app, WhatsApp, or by email: contact@un17liv.dk.
